How CleanTech Partners is funded
CleanTech Partners receives the bulk of its funding via grants from the State of Wisconsin's Focus on Energy program. Other sources of funding include corporations and other government contracts for projects that are consistent with our mission.
Because our most significant funder, Focus on Energy, is itself funded by Wisconsin’s utility companies, we currently dedicate the greater part of our efforts toward advancing technologies that will impact the consumption of the types of energy products supplied by utility companies: electricity, natural gas, and liquid propane.
CleanTech Partners welcomes additional sources of funding so that we can expand our support of energy-saving technology above and beyond the purview of Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy program. Diversifying our funding sources will enable us to foster the commercialization of more types of clean technologies and to expand our scope beyond Wisconsin industries.
